Applied biotechnology
Enzymes, bioengineered yeasts, and lipid-processing expertise form the technical foundation for our SAF feedstock platform.
UMeWorld
We develop feedstock, fermentation, and commercialization strategies for sustainable aviation fuel and lower-carbon energy.
UMeWorld is building a biotechnology-enabled platform for sustainable aviation fuel. Our work combines proprietary enzymes, bioengineered yeasts, and industrial biotechnology to convert waste-derived lipid and renewable-carbon streams into consistent, higher-value fuel intermediates.
Our enzymatic platform is designed to upgrade challenging waste lipids under mild operating conditions. In parallel, bioengineered yeasts and microbial oil development broaden the renewable feedstock base needed to support long-term SAF expansion.
Our work joins established biotechnology with the engineering and execution required for commercial-scale deployment.
Enzymes, bioengineered yeasts, and lipid-processing expertise form the technical foundation for our SAF feedstock platform.
Targeted biocatalysis enables selective upgrading under mild temperature and pressure conditions.
Waste-derived lipid streams become higher-purity intermediates engineered for HEFA compatibility.
FGE NexantECA is assessing Phase 1 before engineering, project financing, and commercial execution.
Phase 1 targets approximately 200,000 MTPA of SAF production using proven HEFA technology while establishing UMeWorld’s proprietary microbial oil platform for future feedstock diversification.
